Millions of Americans to receive Amazon refund checks with Trump’s name: Report

Millions of Americans are expected to be sent refund checks in the coming months from Amazon credited to “President Trump’s Federal Trade Commission,” according to a new report. The checks, first reported by Politico , are part of a $2.5 billion settlement that Amazon agreed to in September 2025. As of last month, $845 million in refunds have been already issued, per the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) , which has alleged Amazon had engaged in deceptive enrollment practices for Amazon Prime, its streaming service.
