A Milwaukee man has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide and child neglect in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday. An arrest warrant has been issued for Marcus Glenn Jenkins, 34, who is accused of causing the Nov. 6, 2025, death of Da’Quarius Berry at a home near 29th Street and Concordia Avenue. The complaint said Berry was found unresponsive with severe abdominal injuries. Doctors discovered more than 350 milliliters of blood in his abdomen, but were unable to save him.
