NEVADA, Mo. (KCTV) - A Nevada, Missouri, man is behind bars after police say he shot his friend with a stolen handgun while under the influence of methamphetamine. Court records show that Frank C. Hostetter-Bailey, 18, of Nevada, faces charges of assault in the second degree, two counts of armed criminal action and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, following the Monday, Sept. The Nevada Police Department said it was called to a home near E. Washington St. that evening after reports of a shooting.
