The state's top judges said Hoskins was in contempt of their order, but he has since corrected his contemptuous conduct and has purged himself of contempt. A written order is expected later in the day on Thursday. The judges ordered Hoskins to appear for a contempt hearing for not following their orders on which election maps to use and for instructing local election authorities to use the Trump-backed districts.
