According to Indiana State Police, a deputy in Pike County was traveling westbound on State Road 64 Saturday evening after receiving a call of a domestic violence incident unfolding at a gas station. As the deputy approached the gas station, he saw a vehicle that was reportedly involved in the incident, with the driver speeding away from the gas station and forcing another motorist off the roadway. The driver then attempted to strike the deputy’s squad car, and forced the officer to take evasive action.
