Motorcycle operator killed in crash on Silas Deane Highway

A motorcycle rider was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash on Silas Deane Highway, police said. The Rocky Hill Police Department received the report of the serious motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle in the area in the 1400 block of Silas Deane Highway just before 4 p.m. Sunday, police said. The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The person’s name has not yet been released.
