A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 as traffic slowed due to a wildfire near the mouth of Weber Canyon. The Broad Fire was discovered on Saturday, causing traffic delays as I-84 was closed in the area. At about 3:30 p.m., a truck driver was traveling west on I-84 and was going too fast when they approached the slower traffic near mile point 98, according to Utah Highway Patrol. UHP officials said the truck rear-ended an SUV which was pushed into a motorcycle. The motorcycle was then pushed into a passenger car.
