Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Hit And Run Crash In Monroe

A 75-year-old man was hospitalized with a serious head injury Sunday after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a crash with a vehicle that then left the scene. According to Monroe Township Police, the collision occurred at the intersection of Union Valley Half Acre Road and North Pondview Boulevard on Sunday at about 4:35 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist in the roadway. Police said he suffered a serious head injury and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by Monroe Township EMS and paramedics. During an investigation, police learned that the Honda motorcycle was traveling northbound on Union Valley Half Acre Road.
