Mount Holly woman charged in connection with shooting that killed 1 person at apartment complex

MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. (WBTV) - A Mount Holly woman was charged in connection with a shooting that killed one person at a Gaston County apartment on Monday night. At around 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, police said a person identified only as a “young Black male” was shot in the chest at Holly Hills Apartment complex on Noles Drive. Mount Holly police did not say what led up the shooting or who the people involved were. Police said they detained a male and a female, the female was arrested after a search warrant was done at an apartment.
