N.J. family mourns child who died in minibike crash. ‘That little boy changed lives.’

The family of the 7-year-old boy who died Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle are mourning his death and finding ways to honor his memory. The boy, identified by his family as Jayden Barger, was riding a gas-powered minibike near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melrose Avenue in Atlantic City when a 2012 blue Nissan Altima hit him at about 5 p.m. Jayden was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He later died of his injuries.
