UPDATE: The tornado warnings in New Jersey expired around 9:30 p.m., and there was no confirmation of any twisters on the ground. The National Weather Service has issued two tornado warnings in different sections of Burlington County as strong thunderstorms have been sweeping across several areas of New Jersey Tuesday night. The first tornado warning, in effect until 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the central region of Burlington County, urges people in the warned areas to immediately seek shelter inside a sturdy building and to stay away from windows. That warning was triggered by a strong thunderstorm moving over Mount Holly.
