Nebraska, Notre Dame football set first meeting since 2001
The Fighting Irish will be returning to Memorial Stadium to face the Huskers. Nebraska football announced a home-and-home series against Notre Dame set for 2032 and 2033. NU will host the Fighting Irish in Lincoln on Oct. 30, 2032, and travel to South Bend on Oct. It will be the first time the teams have played since a home-and-home series in 2000 and 2001. "The series with Notre Dame is the type of matchup that college football fans circle on their calendars years in advance," Nebraska Athletic Director Troy Dannen said in a statement.
