ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — New DNA evidence has led to an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in 2020, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said. The GBI said Tyler Hall, 21, was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in his Norcross home on Aug. In 2024, evidence was sent to a DNA lab for testing, which identified Rashad Jackson, now 27, as a suspect. The GBI announced Thursday that Jackson had been arrested and charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of firearms during the commission of a felony in connection with Hall’s death.
