The video, obtained by KING 5 through a public records request, shows several people riding in the bed of a truck while traveling on U.S. Highway 97 near Orondo, Washington, shortly after midnight on July 4. A large Roman candle can be seen firing dozens of fiery shots toward another vehicle and behind the truck. "Shoot it at them," one person can be heard saying in the video. "Don't tell them who was shooting though," another person said.

Witnesses said flames ignited in the dry grass along the roadway after they saw the fireworks. He faces charges of first-degree manslaughter, first-degree arson, first-degree malicious mischief and six counts of third-degree assault.
