NJ resident identified as victim stabbed by woman shot by police in Times Square: NYPD

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A woman from New Jersey has been identified as the victim of a knife attack in Times Square moments before a deadly police shooting on Monday. Erin Piacenti, 32, from Chester, New Jersey, was killed when she was stabbed by 49-year-old Pamela Cisneros, authorities say. A 68-year-old man who was also stabbed by Cisneros is expected to survive, police said. Officials previously reported that Cisneros, a Queens resident, pulled two knives from a Target bag and stabbed the two victims in a random attack at the intersection of 41st Street and Seventh Avenue around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Piacenti was stabbed in the abdomen seconds after the 68-year-old was attacked, according to authorities.
