North Carolina man accused of shooting cousin over messy kitchen
WINGATE, N.C. (WBTV) - An argument over a dirty kitchen in Union County left one man shot and the other in jail, deputies said. Jayden Sturdivant, 22, was arrested Saturday, Sept. 12, after he allegedly shot his cousin in the leg at a home in Wingate. Deputies said the shooting happened after the two men had an argument over a “mess in the kitchen.” Sturdivant was charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting. He posted a $25,000 bond the same day of his arrest, court records show.
