BRISTOL (WGME) -- The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who was killed in a plane crash in Bristol Thursday. 54-year-old John Hall from Lee, New Hampshire and his 21-year-old son were on board the plane when it went down into the Pemaquid River Thursday afternoon. Also read: Pilot dead, passenger injured in small plane crash near Bristol The flight tracking site Flight Aware shows the small, two-seater, propeller-powered plane took off from Brunswick Executive Airport just before 12:30 p.m. The plane's flight path shows it was only in the air for a total of 30 minutes, making a few circles just after takeoff before making its way up the coast. “I don't see anything that's really unusual, up of course until the very last minute,” Foundation for Aviation Safety Flight Safety Officer Randy Klatt said. Klatt says flight data indicates the plane most likely suffered a mechanical issue.
