The crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. Monday at Terminal B on the Departures Level 3 roadway. The employee shuttle bus hit a concrete wall. Three people were seriously injured, but none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate Monday morning’s crash of an employee shuttle bus at Newark Airport that injured 13 people, the agency announced on X. The crash took place around 3 a.m. on the level 4 roadway near Terminal B, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials said. The injured people hurt were brought to an area hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening. The bus jumped a curb and crashed into a concrete wall, WABC-7 reported . The level 4 roadway was temporarily closed while crews cleared debris from the road, the Port Authority said.
