Nine law enforcement officers were placed on administrative leave in connection with the fatal shooting of a security guard in Gary, Indiana, authorities said. Indiana State Police said at around 10:54 p.m. on Friday, officers with the Gary Police Department and Lake County Sheriff's Department responded to the metro station at Broadway and 4th Avenue in Gary for a report of an armed security officer exhibiting erratic behavior.
