NYC woman killed in weekend N.J. Turnpike crash that injured 4 others

A 58-year-old New York City woman was killed and four others were injured when an SUV rear-ended a car on the southbound New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Laurel on Saturday, authorities said. Clarke was a passenger in a car that was struck from behind at 12:40 a.m., about five miles north of exit 4, State Police said. Clarke, of Brooklyn, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in the car was hospitalized with serious injuries. The car’s driver, a third passenger and the SUV driver suffered moderate injuries.
