INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An off-duty Lawrence police officer was among two people shot and injured on the east side of Indianapolis, police said. They were taken to hospitals Friday night. The officer was reportedly taken to the hospital in stable condition. A second victim was reported to be in critical condition at the hospital. No additional information was yet available on the victims.
