GIBSONBURG, Ohio (WJW) -- Ohio authorities said they have apprehended the suspect in a stabbing involving a police officer in Sandusky County on Wednesday morning, Aug. The Sandusky County Sheriff's Office that morning issued an Ohio Blue Alert, which indicated that police officer has been seriously injured or killed, or is missing, and the suspect is still at large. The sheriff's office announced the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Scott Dodd, was in custody just after 3 p.m. The stabbing happened just before 11 a.m. in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Gibsonburg, according to the sheriff's office. The officer's condition has not been released and his or her name is being withheld.
