Ohio man charged after fatally shooting brother; family says he was defending his mother
NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WKRC) - An 18-year-old North Olmsted man is charged with murder after fatally shooting his older brother during a reported attack inside their family’s home. Per ABC 5 , Ameen Farraj is accused of shooting Abdulla Farraj, 22, on Sept. Police responded around 2:30 p.m. after receiving 911 calls from the home. In one call, the brothers’ sister told a dispatcher that her older brother had hit their mother and had been shot. She said Ameen was protecting her, their mother and a cousin, according to recordings released by authorities and reported by WKYC .
