Omaha to host FIVB Volleyball World Cup pool play in 2027
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha will host matches in one of the biggest events in international volleyball next year. The Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) announced Thursday that CHI Health Center Arena will host pool play and the Round of 16 in the 2027 Women’s Volleyball World Cup, marking the first time the tournament has been held in North America — with the United States and Canada as host nations. “Here in Nebraska – it’s the people and we have the greatest volleyball fans anywhere! This is exciting news and we’re eager to welcome those who will be flocking to Omaha to watch this world-class event,” Gov.
