LAVALLETTE, N.J. (WPVI) -- One woman was killed and seven others injured when a car careened into an outdoor dining area in Lavallette, Ocean County New Jersey on Saturday. Police said the woman, 93, hit the accelerator on her Buick Encore instead of the brake. She slammed her vehicle into the tables outside of Megs Grill, along the 1400 block of Grand Central Avenue. A woman, 56, was killed. Seven others were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
