WELLS, Nevada (KMVT/KSVT) —One person died in a crash involving a semi-truck and a smaller vehicle on U.S. Highway 93 north of Wells, according to emergency officials. The crash caused a vehicle fire that spread into surrounding wildland. Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Jackpot Fire, Wells Fire, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and North Las Vegas Fire Department are on scene working the crash and the associated wildland fire.
