One hospitalized, multiple more arrested after shooting in Downtown Omaha, police say

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One man was sent to the hospital and multiple more were arrested after an apparent gunfight in Downtown Omaha early Sunday morning. According to Omaha Police, officers heard what sounded like a gun battle in the area of 12th and Howard around 1 a.m. on Sunday. As officers responded to the scene, hundreds of people and numerous vehicles were fleeing in all directions. A 23-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound in his leg at the scene. Aid was rendered to the victim and he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
