Guardian Australia understands reporters from the ABC and the Age were refused entry to Hanson’s press conference on Monday, where she announced seven of the eight candidates who will lead One Nation’s upper house tickets. The Age has been contacted for comment while the ABC declined to. Reporters from the ABC, the Age and the Guardian were not told the time or location of the event in advance. One Nation has previously said the ABC and the Guardian were not welcome at the party’s events and press conferences.
