One person is dead after a plane crashed just south of Guymon, Oklahoma, causing what officials call a small field fire. Just after 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a small aircraft crashed into a field just south of the Guymon Municipal Airport. Guymon is located in Oklahoma's Panhandle in Texas County. When the plane crashed, OHP officials state a fire erupted, though it was quickly put out.
