The fire started around 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of Chisamore Ranch Lane, according to the fire district. Because the fire was in a remote area and crews needed additional resources and water, a larger emergency response was requested.

According to Vacaville Fire, the vegetation fire burned just under half an acre and, with help from the Solano County Sheriff’s Department, evacuation orders were issued for the surrounding area.
