One person killed in fiery crash that left another hospitalized, SC coroner says

A woman was killed Monday night in South Carolina when the car she was driving was involved in a fiery crash, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office . The single-vehicle collision happened at about 9:10 p.m. in the Monetta area of Aiken County, Master Trooper William Bennett of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said Tuesday. A 2019 Honda Civic was driving north on Monetta Street South East , according to Bennett. Near the intersection with Jehosse Drive South East the Honda ran off the right side of the road, Bennett said. The Honda crashed into a tree and burst into flames, according to Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables.
