One person has been found dead after two glider planes collided mid-air near Edinburg, according to NBC affiliate WNYT. New York State Police say it happened in the area of Wheeler Road in Edinburg, about an hour's drive from Lake George. The wreckage from that plane was discovered in a remote area off of Sand Lake Rd., according to WNYT. The pilot aboard that glider was killed. No one else was on board.
