Orland Park shooting today: Illinois Concealed Carry License holder shoots masked attempted armed robbery suspect at gas station
ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- An attempted "armed holdup" at an Orland Park gas station on Tuesday ended with the alleged would-be robber being shot by the customer police say he was trying to steal from. Orland Park police said officers responded around 9 a.m. to Harlem Avenue and 151st Street. Security video reviewed by ABC7 shows a masked person walking up to a customer who was pumping gas at the family-owned station. Naseem Elmosa, whose family owns the business, said the person appeared to be armed. "He was masked. It was clear on plain view sight that this person, he was armed, of course," Elmosa said.
