One of the two Pennsylvania State Police troopers who were in a helicopter involved in a fatal Wednesday evening crash at Carlisle Regional Airport remains hospitalized, the agency said on Thursday. Corporal Bryce Corman and Trooper Jason Mills were training in a grassy area north of the runway when Paul W. Sokoloski, 57, of Hershey, suddenly veered his plane into the back of the helicopter while trying to land around 7 p.m., according to state police. Corman and Mills were initially trapped in the helicopter, state police Lt. George Bivens said at a Wednesday night press conference.
