CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A pedestrian was killed early Saturday after being hit by a car that then left the scene in North College Hill, according to Kyla Woods, a spokesperson with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Woods says around 4 a.m., a driver in a 2012 black Dodge was traveling east on West Galbraith Road when the driver hit 20-year-old Rony Vasquez Cardona while he was crossing Noble Avenue. Cardona was pronounced dead at the scene, Woods said. Woods says law enforcement believes that speed is a factor in the incident. The incident is still under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
