PORTLAND, Ore. — A man is dead after he was hit by a car on Saturday night, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The crash was reported on Southeast Belmont Street near 37th Avenue around 8 p.m. Portland police said a pedestrian, an adult man, died at the scene. They also said the driver is cooperating with the investigation. The Portland Police Traffic Division's Major Crash Team is leading the investigation.
