ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — One person is dead after being hit by a train at the MBTA station in Attleboro on Tuesday afternoon, according to police. Attleboro Fire officials said they responded to the South Main Street train station around 2:50 p.m. where they found an individual who was struck on the inbound side. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The area has been blocked off and all tracks are closed at this time, as Amtrack police, Transit police and Attleboro police continue investigating.
