A man shot Thursday morning at a Fayetteville home has died, and a suspect is in custody. Around 9:30 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a home on Harveydale Drive, where they found a man with gunshot wounds. The man was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. Investigators believe the man knew the person who shot him, and the two were involved in a domestic incident before shots were fired. According to police, the suspect stayed at the scene and has been taken into custody.
