Person injured jumping out vehicle on I-95 north in Milford, police say

MILFORD — Two lanes of Interstate 95 in Milford have reopened after a pedestrian jumped from a moving vehicle on Thursday afternoon, police say. Connecticut State Police said troopers responded to the scene around 12:24 p.m. between Exit 38 and Exit 39A on I-95 northbound. EMS and the local fire department were also dispatched to the scene. While the left and center lanes were shut down as of 12:45 p.m. for the investigation, they have since reopened, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Police initially believed the pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle, however after speaking to multiple witnesses, they determined that an adult passenger exited a moving vehicle that was traveling on I-95 north.
