PGA Tour announces major overhaul beginning in 2028

Under the new format, the PGA Tour Championship Series will feature approximately 24 events, including golf's four major championships, The Players Championship, one or two European events, and 14 additional tournaments. Among those events will be T he Sentry at Torrey Pines, which is expected to become one of the tour's premier stops. Marty Gorsich, CEO of Century Club of San Diego, said the changes are a major win for both the tour and golf fans.
