Officials in Maine have identified the pilot killed in a plane crash along the Maine coastline Thursday as a father from New Hampshire. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said John Hall, 54, of Lee, died at the scene when the Diamond DA20 single-engine plane he was piloting crashed in Pemaquid Harbor. Hall was the registered owner of the aircraft, tail number N83RF, according to Federal Aviation Administration records. Hall’s son, identified by police as Tyler Hall, 21, was the lone passenger in the plane at the time of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
