Pilot seriously injured after Popham Airfield plane crash

Hampshire Police said it was called at 17:45 BST on Sunday after reports of a crash at Popham Airfield involving a single light aircraft, which had overturned. It said the pilot, a 62-year-old man, was taken to hospital with "serious and potentially life-threatening and life-changing injuries". South Central Ambulance Service said the pilot had been trapped in the aircraft and was taken to hospital just after 19:00.
