Pittsburgh Police Investigating Overnight Shooting in Middle Hill

At approximately 2:15 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were dispatched to the 2000 block of Centre Avenue in the city’s Middle Hill neighborhood for reports of a shooting. Arriving officers located an adult male in the lobby of the apartment building with two gunshot wounds—one to his chest/torso and one to his arm. Officers immediately began to render aid to the victim, including applying a chest seal and tourniquet. He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition to an area hospital. The male had been involved in an argument in an upper-floor apartment unit prior to the shooting.
