First responders were called to the 4900 block of Gender Road around 7:00 a.m. on a report of a pedestrian struck. The Columbus Division of Police said the driver of a car reported driving southbound on Gender Road during a heavy storm when they struck something. The driver allegedly did not realize it was a person at first.
