Police: 2 killed, 2 injured at house in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood

Detectives have located the vehicle involved in a northwest Miami-Dade hit-and-run that killed a 10-year-old girl and left her older brother hospitalized, authorities announced Saturday. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Traffic Homicide Unit detectives located the vehicle involved in the crash and it is now in the agency’s custody. No arrest has been made and investigators are urging the driver involved to come forward and turn themselves in. The development comes days after siblings Peyton and Brent were struck while riding an e-bike near Northwest 117th Street and Northwest Seventh Avenue Wednesday night. According to MDSO, deputies responded to the hit-and-run crash at approximately 8:40 p.m.
