Police: Central Missouri student from Overland Park died from suspected overdose
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The investigation into the death of a University of Central Missouri senior continued on Tuesday. Bailey Throssell, of Overland Park, Kansas, had been majoring in sports management. The Warrensburg Police Department stated officers were called to the 900 block of South Holden Street just before 2 p.m. after his reported possible cardiac arrest. First responders pronounced Throssell dead at the scene from a suspected overdose, according to police. “We extend our deepest sympathies to Bailey’s family, friends, classmates and all those affected by this loss,” a university spokesperson wrote. Friends and members of the UCM community shared messages of support and condolences on social media following the announcement.
