Police: Disagreement leads to a 14-year-old girl being shot in the leg

LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A disagreement between a woman and individuals associated with a Jimmy John’s near the Saint Louis University Campus ended with a 14-year-old girl getting shot in the leg, according to police. Louis Metropolitan Police, just before 6 p.m., District 4 and 5 officers responded to the intersection of Vandeventer and Laclede for a shooting. There, they found a 14-year-old girl inside a car with a gunshot injury to her leg. She was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition. Police say that a preliminary investigation points to there being a disagreement between the mother of the 14-year-old and individuals associated with the Jimmy John’s in the 3800 block of Laclede.
