Police identify pilot who died in Saratoga County glider collision

EDINBURG — An 80-year-old Saratoga Springs man has been identified as the pilot who died in a glider collision in Edinburg on Friday. The NTSB expects to release a preliminary report on the collision within the next month, but doesn’t expect to share its probable cause until its final report is released in the next 12 to 24 months, according to NTSB spokesperson Jennifer Gabris.
