(WBTV) - One person was shot Sunday afternoon near the Spectrum Center in uptown Charlotte, police said. Police were called to East Trade Street shortly after 12 p.m. Officers arrived to find a gunshot victim with life-threating injuries, police said . Medics responded to the area and took the victim to a local hospital where they later died from their injuries. Investigators said a person of interest, 49-year-old Sean Lamont Dell, was taken into custody and a gun was recovered.
