Syracuse, N.Y. — A 60-year-old man was shot on the South Side of Syracuse Saturday night. Around 9:44 p.m., Syracuse police were called to 137 Webster Ave. for a reported shooting with injuries, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches. Police on the scene said they found a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand, according to dispatches. Syracuse police confirmed to Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard that a shooting occurred but did not immediately provide further details. The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital by an AMR ambulance, dispatchers said.
